The Media General and Dish Network contract originally was set to expire on 6/30/13 but was extended until 9/30/13, and no new deal was reached in time to keep the LiLs from going dark.  See the existing discussion here.

Info about Media General owned channels from their Web site:

Media General currently owns and operates 18 network-affiliated television stations, including WFLA, the number-one rated station in Florida. The company’s stations reach 27.5 percent of the television households in the Southeast, and more than 8 percent of those in the United States.
