HR44 variations?

Could somebody please summarize the differences in the 3 variations? Which model would be considered the "best"

There is no "best", they are different manufacturers. There have been times where there have been some end user differences, but I can't think of one for the HR44. Even Solid Signal won't guarantee manufacturer.

Could you put a name to the first 2, I read that -200 is Samsung.

-100 - Thomson/Technicolor (formerly RCA)

-200 - Samsung

-250 - TiVo (no longer active)

-300 - Pace (formerly Philips)

-400 - Hughes (no longer active)

-500 - Humax

-600 - LG

-700 - Pace

-800 - NEC
