Good news for you now. I had two receivers conk out in the last few months. No problem getting D* to just ship a replacement and have me ship the old one back. Takes a day or two to get the receiver. Very simple now.
from what i gather from reading here they wont ship a replacement unless its flat out dead. I can understand that because i am sure if they sent them out for every "issue" call there would be a rising number of "fake" issues everytime a newer model came out.
