Is there a size limit on the flash drive the GenieGo will reconize? Thanks

There may be a limit, but I know some folks have successfully attached 100GB USB hard drives, so I know you're safe up to a 64GB flash drive, at least.

I can confirm that a 64GB flash drive will work with GenieGo. I've successfully used one for that purpose now for some time.

 

As Steve also indicated...a few users have used USB hard drives of a larger storage size as well.

 

The 64GB USB flash drive holds a significant amount of content.

I've got a 1TB USB hard drive connected to mine, works fine.

32GB flash drive on my GenieGo works fine. 


HD DVRs: HR34-700; HR24-500; (2) HR20-700 + WD eSATA 1TB drive/Antec MX1 case; HR21-700; HR21-200 w/AM21

I don't have it hooked up yet but will it allow you to transfer a pay per view movie?

No, also won't do any OTA recordings made via an AM21 or DIRECTV on Demand programs.
