Unless you watch sports a multi disc subscription to Netflix will get you everything that's on tv just a little latter.

I think a lot of that depends on how you prefer to get your local news and weather.

For my area, the local radio stations go to recordings at 6pm and few take the fishwrapper any more (and they are easing into charging for access to their website). Any local TV stories are usually done by the ABC affiliate under an exclusive deal with Comcast.

There's just too many websites to visit and they don't always offer RSS feeds when they do.

As someone who never watches Disney nor sports, subsidizing this extortion does not please me one bit.

I agree with you all the way. I don't watch ABC, ESPN at all.
