If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

Don"t even get me started on the $700 Samsung RVU 32 inch TV I bought.

I bought a 40" UN40ES6100 and I've probably b*tched and moaned about that set and RVU more then anyone here. Samsung has got the firmware (latest update came out just last week) still stinks when using 30skip or skip back, you think mini client performance stinks try this set. Plus Samsung never implemented the Screen Fit aspect ratio and you have to use their Pandora and YouTube smart apps. At least the latest code fixed the problem with TVApps that I had where if you used an app that had a full screen function it made it the size of the PIG, making it useless. Of course Samsung said it was a DIRECTV problem but all of a sudden it works after a Samsung update :bang

See post My Setup for configuration info.

H25 rocks!!

Its fast ,stable and doesn't require a Genie

HR24 with the New Software is down right fast and stable as well.

Trust me I now blame Samsung.

The Clients and H25 are a wiser and much cheaper option.

I think the general point is "speed" and clients don't go together, but I'd also say a client can be nice for some locations/uses.

A c41 and c41w are as fast or faster when connected to my hr44 than my actual HR34 is.

Not according to Rads Video.  Clearly shows the HR34 is the fastest in the test.

And I trust him!

You don't understand. The same client is much faster when connected to a hr44 than a HR34.

My clients where slow when connected to my HR34. They are much faster when connected to my hr44.

RAD's clients are connected to an HR44, but the HR34 is the fastest receiver on that video, which does not correlates to what you are saying

I remember reading about people who thought the client was faster with the 44, but I have checked mine at the time and never saw anything to suggest one was faster than the other. It didn't matter if the 31 or 41 was connected to the 34 or 44.

"Maybe" one of yours was "slower than normal" and changed when connected, but mine were all the same, no matter how I mixed or matched.
