I changed my old receivers to a Genie Hr44 and 2 minis.

All went well except that I lost my landline phone service.

A  call to service resulted in a recommendation to disconnect the phone line from the Genie.

This worked but it didn't address the problem of why the connection can't be made.

Thoughts?

Make sure you are not connecting the phone line to the ethernet jack and if you have DSL, make sure to use a DSL filter or two
