I getting ready to upgrade some of my equipment, but after reading about all the differnt models I not sure what to go with. I currently have one HR23 and two H25's.

The issues I have with my current equipment is,

1) My HR23 is very slow to respond, and has stop responding completely then rebooted atleast twice now.

2) If you watch a recording from the HR23 on one of the H25's then you can't watch a recording on the other H25.

3) The HR23 series manager only works with 50 items.

4) The HR23 HD is always full because of my saved car shows.

Questions,

a) What equipment is best for what I need and stll be reliable?

B) If I replace my HR23 can Directv move what's on my HD to the new DVR?

c) If I replace one of my H25's with a Genie can I link the Genie to my HR23 and remaining H25? Then be able to watch what's recorded on the Genie on the HR23/H25 and watch what is recorded on the HR23 on the Genie/H25.

Thanks!

Casey

If you get a New Dvr to replace the HR23 you will NOT be able to transfer the contents.
If you replace one of the H25's yes you will be able to see all programs recorded on both Dvr's
The Genie is the Bomb !!!!!

I would get DirecTV to replace the HR23 as defective and keep the replacement DVR along with the Genie and one H25 and get rid of the second H25.

If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

That's a big plus! I've been trying to balance series for a several months and it's getting harder.
