Yesterday, when I turned off my DVR all the blue lights went away.  Today, they stay on all the time.  Also, it says it's recording but the record light isn't on.  How do I get the record light back and get rid of all the bright blue lights when the display is off?  This isn't useful, it's ANNOYING!

First thing to try is resetting your DVR/Receiver using the red button behind the front panel access card door. See if that helps.
