Only a few minutes in and this Summer replacement looks like a keeper.

I may give it one more episode.

But seemed like tv for Adult ADD to me.

Very tiring and forced.

We liked it. It was the pilot so we'll see where it goes, but it is Summer TV.

After watching the whole show, it kinda reminds me of M*A*S*H.

Now to see if the writers can keep it rolling in the right direction.

Yeah, we are running about 75% Winter DVR'd shows right now. That percentage will change by mid-June as the cable channel Summer schedules start running.

Well, it lost of its funny track in the second episode. That was the best part of the premier. Without it, it is just another ho-hum hospital show.

Yes, about 20 minutes into it my wife commented that the whole show felt "off" for some reason.

It's pretty bad. Jill Flint can often keep me from tuning out, but her earnestness seems forced here. The lead male is woefully untalented. Summer burnoff, because it could never compete anywhere else, and probably not even as a summer burnoff. Total tubecooler. Something to place between commercial breaks, except the commercial breaks are more entertaining.

I find that there is just too many things going on at one time for my liking. I will only watch it if there is nothing else on that I like.

That was my approach. Then 1977 happened, and I got a Betamax, and never used that approach again.

He meant too many things in the episode going on!  Not in his life...

This is like watching two different shows. The funny track was back tonight and the storyline was a lot better.

Maybe they have certain writers with different sensibilities spearheading different scripts.

Wait...there was something funny in the first script? If so, it was the scatalogical practical joke or the box of make-shift butt plugs. If that is the 2nd-grader level of funny we're after, humor just hit an all-time low. Not much else even approached funny, at least not intentionally.

Did someone miss that fine point?

Now I'm just confused.  I thought you missed that point by implying he could record shows and watch them when he had more time.  If that is not what you meant, then apparently I missed your fine point.

Too many things going on in the SHOW at one time to keep track of. Clutters my mind. Give me something like Longmire or Rizzoli and Isles where there are just 2 or 3 things going on at one time and I am good.

I guess I did indeed miss the point, assuming that was it.

Too many things going on in the ep? Are you guys watching the same show I am? Absolutely NOTHING of import was going on, just hacky retreads of medical dramatic tropes that St. Elsewhere would have found dated and not worth doing in 1983 (and they had Denzel. And Howie Mandel). Maybe that was the point; too many things going on that should not have been going on.

Too many things going on in the ep?

The number of overlapping storylines. Perhaps it is just initial confusion over trying to introduce all of the characters and present their backstories in as few episodes as possible.

Wow, that was a short one. Last night as it started it said it was the season finale. Probably never hear from them again.
