If the PI is outputting the correct voltage (which it is) and the cable and fittings are are good then the problem is more likely the LNB

Checked online to make sure reschedule was there. It wasn't Did see my Friday appointment was marked as CANCEL. That does seems to explain how they at least look good in the books.

Called DirecTV and the reschedule is still there.

Sounds like the same issue that I had.  PI resets would work anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 hours.

I found if I try to record what I want to watch live -- mainly Mets games, that the HR34 will get 771, quickly follow by 775 a few minutes after the HR21 starts recording the game. Had to watch Sunday's game on my desktop using DirecTV2PC. This setup was at least a minute behind live time.

And if the HR34 is showing 775 when I turn it on, as it was this morning. Playing a remote recording for a few minutes will sometimes get the HR34 to see the satellite.

While the other boxes have let to get their own 775, Their Whole Home has had fits. I'll be watching a remote recording and suddenly it will report the other DVR is no longer connected.

Right now, for the whole evening, it been working OK.

Repair guys are due back tomorrow.

What did they do to fix the problem?

I must have jinks it. Just got the 775 again. I just used the DirecTV online guide to start recording the game on another DVR.Still have Whole Home on the HR34, so I'm now watching the game about a minute behind live.

Well the repair guy was here. When he went to touch the SWiM-16 he got an electric shock. That's a new one to me. Also glad with my heart, I didn't try to check all the outside connections myself. Anyway, he also replaced the LNB. I should know by tomorrow with high humidity and rain storms if the intermittent 775 been fixed.

To date, no new 771/775 problem since he replaced the SWiM16 & LNB.
