It's hard to mourn for someone that lived to 91, better to celebrate their life. I think my favorite role of hers was Mother Abigail in The Stand. Was always a fan of her husband, Ossie Davis, as well.

I was actually thinking whether she was in the movie where James Earl Jones and Robert Duvall are half brothers. But that was Irma P. Hall.
