With an R16-500, I have some TV shows (not movies) that I would like to save out. There's a large number of them (for the sake of information, it's the Doctor Who Revisted series that ran on BBCA last year. 3 hr shows for each of the Doctors up to that point. Lots to watch yet, but taking up a lot of space!) Is there any way to save these over to some other medium short of plugging the output into a VCR and running it real-time? This is classic stuff, and doesn't seem to be available any other way.

You can do the same thing but use a DVD recorder instead of the VCR. It also is real time ( takes forever ).
