Recently I had to reload my windows 98 I lost everything I down loaded IE 6 and now when I try to go somewhere that need java I cant get it to work I have tried the java sun download that is on dsl reports but it makes my screen flicker so I uninstalled it Where should I go next

Doesn't a visit to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com pull in the Sun virtual machine now? It seems like it did with a laptop I updated recently. That was winxp pro though.

If you are using win98 and not 98se you might just have a problem trying to get the VM to work right anyway.
Try this too if it isn't what you installed before.

I'm running Blackdown Java-Linux Java™ Plug-in1.4.1 on my Gentoo box so I'm not much help with the windows stuff lately. If you still can't get the sun java working you might try searching for the Microsoft VM on the web, or maybe it's on your install cd but you have to go in and select it under the internet items (add/remove windows components, in the control panel I think).

Go to http://java.sun.com and download/install the latest JRE.

Some people stand up for what they believe even when confronted by staggering amounts of opposition. Those people used to be admired. Now they're simply beaten down until they dare not stand for anything anymore.
