Voom reports that as of April 30th, they have activated about 8000 customers but has an operating loss of $54.8 million in the first quarter. Makes you wonder how long they could last. More HERE.

One of our users (DBSPaul) has posted his first impressions of the new HD Tivo. It's an excellent thread with some great info. You can see it HERE.

Lastly, as we reported yesterday, a summary of last night's Dish Technical Chat is available HERE. It was one of the more informative chats we have seen in a long time. I would highly suggest catching one of the re-runs. You can view the re-broadcast schedule in PDF format HERE.

Now, I'm off to wait for the FedEx guy. My HD Tivo is getting delivered today. :)
