Things are heating up between DirecTV & Pegasus. According to THIS news report, Pegasus has filed chapter 11 to prevent the NRTC and DirecTV from unlawfully terminating their agreement. Also, DirecTV made a cash offer to the company - payable in either a lump sum or monthly payments - if Pegasus agrees to an orderly transfer of its subscribers to DirecTV before Aug. 31. More HERE.

Dish announced an exclusive agreement today with BBC AMERICA to bring the popular BBC drama, "EastEnders," to DISH Network's DISH On Demand Pay-Per-View. More about that HERE.

That's all for now. I will update this report if anything else comes in today. Thanks for visiting DBSTalk.Com!

DirecTV announced the launch of 13 local markets starting tomorrow (Friday). You can see which markets HERE. A total of 42 will be launched this month!
