DirecTV said it sent notice to the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles that it's withdrawing the false advertising claim it recently filed against EchoStar. More HERE.

EchoStar and Cablevision's Rainbow DBS unit have qualified for an auction of non full-CONUS DBS spectrum taking place at the Federal Communications Commission July 14. More HERE.

Steve Mehs has updated our package comparison chart. If you are in the market for Dish Network or DirecTV, this chart will help you choose which provider has the programming you want or need. You can find this chart using the links on the left or just click here. Many thanks goes to Steve for keeping the chart updated. :)
