I called Directv this morning to obtain my 6 free months of HD programming -- thanks for the tip! The rep told me that I was eligible even though I am an existing HD subscriber. During the call, the Directv rep also confirmed that NBC locals in HD should be coming soon. She also told me that Directv has reached an agreement with NBC and Bravo to rebroadcast some of their olympics coverage in HD on Bravo.
