Ed 42" panny/h10-250 and aspect ratios

I cannot seem to stretch my sd source material to fill the screen. My good friend had me set the input to 480p in the menus of the h10-250 and now it cannot stretch with the ed panny remote to fill the screen to prevent burn in. any clues would be helpful. thanks, chris
