Manual stinks please help.

i have the h10-250 and the manual for the tivo and remote is the worst i have ever laid eyes on. ..... any clue as to a link or other source for a more detailed and informative description of tivo and remote functions

one example is the thumbs up and down.....no link in index and almost no information on what this does...any clues???? thanks

Try the TiVo Community.
Essentially, you use the thumbs ratings to indicate to the TiVo what types of shows you like. Then the TiVo will use this info to find Suggestions to record for you.
DirecTV since '96, Waivers for ABC, CBS, NBC, & Fox, HR23-700 & HR24-500/AM21, using ethernet based MRV.
