Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum (HI WALKER!)

Thanks all, :D anyway I've now been with D* for two months, and my latest bill lists that I got a 'Customer Referral Reward' which with other new subscriber credits and discounts nets me a total bill this month for $0.00. Now I'm all for getting this great service for free for a couple of months (for some reason, my last bill was also $0.00) but I am at a loss as to where this referral reward came from. I have been telling everyone I know how great it is at every chance I get (because it is...Comcast was charging us $90/month for what D* gives me for less than $60 and that is with HBO/Starz and three receivers) but I don't recall anyone I personally know subscribing to DirecTV on the date that they list on the bill.

So is this something that is common or did I just get mysteriously lucky?
