Boston Legal doesn't start until 10/3, but it should show up in the guide in the next day or so, I think. If memory serves, the program guide data goes out about 12 days, so it should be just about there.

Your other option would be to record using a Wish List. In this case, you could set up a Title Wish List and punch in Boston Legal. Then set the options to Auto-Record that Wish List. Once the program guide catches up to it, it will show up in your To Do List with a star within a blue circle.

That's what I've done with some things and it works just fine. A word when doing that with a KeyWord Wish List - review your To Do list from time to time. You may get hits on programs that contain your KeyWord(s) that you don't want. I set one once for "Changed Lives" to catch an episode of Third Watch which was titled "Changed Lives". Wound up having to delete a number of Maury Povich shows that turned up in the To Do list!

Amazing stuff, TiVo. :)

As JLucPicard said wait another day or so and it will show up. When the guide data gets updated, new shows/episodes usually don't get logged in the search database right away. It's usually an hour or two later. I just went ahead an advanced the guide to 10/3 and my local ABC station has guide info through 8PM on 10/3, Boston Legal will air at 10, in another few hours the guide data should be there. You can then the Season Pass via the guide. When you go into the To Do List afterwards, it will say None Scheduled, but as soon as the Search is updated, it will appear correctly.
