Fan noise

I think it is the fan, but there is a noise that runs all of the time regardless of the stand by switch. Is this normal. thanks

Yep, essentially, the unit is on even in standby mode. I think it just stops sending out sound and video, otherwise it is no different than when you are watching a program.


DirecTV, please don't make me have to go back to watching March Madness in standard Def! Oh, and the usual begging for AMC and BBC America. You are so close to actually being the HD Leader.
