EchoStar has applications pending at the Federal Communications Commission asking for access to additional satellite orbital locations, and the November issue of The BRIDGE has details concerning the company's plans to expand its space-based resources. More HERE.

Congress will meet Tuesday for a lame duck session to catch up on items left on the burner when it adjourned in October for the elections. It's expected the Senate will take a look at key satellite TV legislation. More HERE.
