I have a question . I have a Dish Network 501 system on a 2.4m antenna on sat 119 . On transponders 2,4,6,8,10,11,12,13,14,16....... I get a signal strength of 110-120,but on transponders 1,3,5,7,9 the the FIRST odd numbers transponders I get no signal strength at all.

At 119° transponders 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 are spot beam transponders that do not hit the entire country. Click on the EKB logo on the top of this page and go to the spot beam map to see what you should be getting.

For the life of me I will never understand why people will pay hundreds and thousands of dollars on a TV that provides the clearest, sharpest, most realistic picture possible and then, voluntarily, distort the image!
