I need help! Install Home Theater in the main room - 7.1 system - Denon 3508 receiver - DVD Denon 3910 - CD Sony CX455 - TV (cable card) Sony 55XS 955 - PanaMax5300 power protection - VCR Panasonic
TV has 2 HDMI inputs - DVD has 1 HDMI output - receiver no HDMI - Would it be best to use HDMI Cable from DVD to the TV? If so I can cut off sound to TV but will the Denon Link Cable from the DVD to the Denon Receiver output sound to the home theater?
What cables do you think would be best for this system?
Also there will 4 other rooms w/ 2 speakers - each have Niles - IR Volume control-
I really would like to be able to listen to 3 different sources & The denon 3805 has 3 Zones but to make this work will I need 2 different Speaker selectors or hubs? I understand in the Home Theater will play the 5.1 in main room & use the surround channel for the 2/3 zone but not sure how to plug the speakers to the other zones in the back of the Denon 3805? Thanks!
