Strange color fluctuation from kinda washed out to over saturated on San Francisco local station KGO channel 7. Only happens between 9-10am (Wife likes Regis). Not TV as it happens on all 301's in different rooms so it must be coming from the satellite. Anyone having similiar problems??

Interesting. This sort of thing has cropped up before in another thread. It may not be the same problem but check this out:

Have the same problem in Dallas. Only notice it on 501. Mainly notice in local news programs. The studio shots have the problems, but when they someone on remote does show up. It is like the better the light in the studio, the worse the problem.

I have the same situation with KGO in San Francisco. The local newscasts lack color and contrast. Network video is fine, and so are the remotes during a live newscast. But how about KNTV, channel 11, the new NBC affilliate? Their local newscasts are very washed out, no contrast and weak color. Anyone else notice this? I have only the 501 receiver.
