Ralph Edwards, host of "Truth or Consequences," and "This is Your Life," on radio and TV, has died at the age of 92. His passing comes at a time when the town of Clark, Texas agreed to change its name to "Dish," as a promotional gimmick for Echostar.
In the late 1940's, the town of Hot Springs, New Mexico changed its name to "Truth of Consequences, after a "challenge" from Edwards on the radio version of "T or C."
There is also a report that "This is Your Life," will be revived next year. What goes around comes around but there will never be another as great as Ralph Edwards.

You resurrected a six year old thread to say that?

Oh, and by the way, Spartanstew, congrats on 10k posts!

Since it costs 2.4¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 4.8¢ worth.  That 4.8¢ is my own and not the 4.8¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.

I've like 20 years to go at my rate...

What's a dazzling urbanite like you doing in a rustic setting like this?
