Wall Street reacted to news that DirecTV plans to raise its subscription rates, which the company said could amount to a price hike of about 4 percent based on a customer's average monthly bill. More HERE.

The ongoing carriage skirmish between Lifetime and EchoStar took yet another turn Tuesday after Lifetime paid for a full-page ad in The New York Times targeting the satellite TV company and its refusal to negotiate a deal that would put its programming back on DISH Network. More HERE.
