Has Audio Sync problem been addressed

My biggest nock on the 942 is the HD audio seldom syncs with the video. I had understood that E* was working on this. I wonder if a fix is in place for the 622.

I don't know, but I posted a question yesterday because the menu on the 622 includes an option for tying audio sync to the HD or SD video. If the 942 has a problem, this could be the solution. How far apart are the audio and HD video?
