Can somebody tell me how to adjust the brightness of the blue circle. The manual says to press Left & Right arrow at the same time, but that doesn't do squat. I've tried pressing left then right, right then left, both at the same time. I tried it with the unit in standby and powered up, and the Cyclops just keeps staring at me. It's starting to freak me out a little. I keep having these weird 2001 dreams. Open the pod door Hal!

Press the left and right buttons on the front panel, not on the remote. If you press enough times, the blue Cyclops will eventually turn off.

Just doubled checked on my unit...

Hold both of them at the same time (on the front panel).. and in about a second.. it will start getting dimmer (in increments) then off, then back to full brightness.
