Question for SF Bay Area 811/921/942 OTA users...

I am finding I need to rescan every day to receive 009-1 (KQED HD).

Anyone else seing this problem (yay or nay)?

If yay, when did you first notice it?

I believe you are talking about PBS. Here PBS broadcasts the main digital channel and a sub-channel during the day. At night they broadcast only the main digital channel.

During the day both channels are 480i. At night the main digital channel is 1080i PBSHD.

When I had my 811, it was always re-mapping or dropping off when they made the change. I would have to rescan to get it fully back. I never had this problem with my 921 as it would map and lock on the digital channel just fine.

Yes, my 921 was fine too until last week when KQED switched to a new encoder.

I'm trying to find out who else has a problem since then.

No problems on 009-01 for me yesterday.
