Hi, All I am thinking about going with Hd dvr for D and wanted to know if the $100 rebate was for new customers only or for current customers? I have a hd ready tv so I might as well upgrade since now i am committed for 2 years. Would appreciate any suggestions. Also will my current Dish work with the hd dvr-i have the multi sat system. There is a limit of 1 rebate per year, it is now $100 and you will be leasing if you pay $499 now for the HR10-250. A phase 3 dish will work for the non MPEG4 HD channels and the HR10-250 can't receive the MPEG 4 channels anyway. You may be forced to upgrade to the AT9 dish though. In a NEWS FLASH faxed to dealers yesterday is a reminder"the 5-LNB ODU requirement for H20s that went into effect February 6 applies to all HD receivers, whether it is an H10, an H20, or an HR10-250."

I'll betcha they are setting the stage for spreading channels through the five satellites' transponders and need the coverage the AT9 gives.
