what is the difference between "scheduled series list" and "auto-record list" in the my shows section?
Both have a place to put a checkmark for no repeats. It would list a show I placed there and say there are so many upcoming recordings. When I click on it the ones listed as upcoming include the repeats even though I put a checkmark in the no repeat box. This kinda threw me and I was hoping you might be able to explain it to me.
Oh, one last one. There is in my shows a history button. Can you delete some of them or does the list just keep on getting longer and longer?

Auto record will record a show regardless of the time or channel. For example, if you wanted to record all of the "Friends" episodes that are on, you could do an auto-record and it will pick up all of the "Friends" episodes that are on NBC, TBS, and other syndicated showings, no matter what time they are on. This is handy for shows that are on at different times during the week like "Big Brother" that is on three days a week at different times. It will pick them all up. You can narrow a search for auto-record also to network channels, other channels, etc. It is really handy when you want to record a movie or something that doesn't show up when you do a search, but will continually look for it and automatically record it for you whenever it comes up. For example, my daugher has been wanting to see "A League of Their Own" and it set an auto record about a month ago, and it just showed up with a recording scheduled for this Sunday. I didn't have to do anything else besides set the auto-record. You can also set an auto-record to pick up certain topics you might be interested in. I have an auto-record set on mine to record shows that have "F-16" whenever it appears in the title or description.
A series record will record a series when it is on at the same time. For example, "Friends" on a series record would record it on NBC on Thursday nights (or any other night that it shows up at the same time).
The history will show the last 250 transactions. If you recoreded something it will show up and then it will also show up when you erase it. It moves pretty fast.

The series record will pick up every show that is on that channel (249) that has the same title around the same time. Also, if the channel description says "No Information Available" it will get recorded as the UTV doesn't know if it is a repeat or not. Comedy Central is famous for having many shows that say "No Information Available" in the description. Hope that helps.
