What's up with the ultimate tv? A friend said that you can't buy them anymore and that microsoft is shutting it down?

Ultimate TV boxes are no longer being made but MS and D* are still planning to support the PVR and internet functions

I'm not sure. As the article points out UTV is not a separarte division it ahs been merged with X box. But I have not read that it is out of productioon or not for sale. In fact there is still an Ultimate TV web site that lists several reatilers.

I have seen TV stories about a combined UTV and Xbox being developed but I am unsure as to whether it is an integrated satellite receiver or a stand alone.
I never cared for all the signatures that insult posters with other points of view.
