To: FarveJL04, Help, Help How do I convince Directv to give me Green Bay-Appleton Local channels. I am one mile from the Wisconsin Border The DMA in Michigan is a block. You recently had the same problem. Can you help me. I would much rather prefer the Green Bay channels then the New York connection I now have. Thanks. 1930Ray:confused:

The Green Bay TV market does go into Michigan by one county

Of course this is current as of Sept 2005. DirecTV could have frozen the DMAs at an earlier year (probably 2002)

Anyway, anything short of moving will yeild negative results. Sorry.

For the life of me I will never understand why people will pay hundreds and thousands of dollars on a TV that provides the clearest, sharpest, most realistic picture possible and then, voluntarily, distort the image!

If you don't live somewhere in the mapped area, you're out of luck. It is not up to DirecTV. The FCC (as pressured by the NAB and using information compiled by Nielsen Research) has declared that you are not entitled.

Have you investigated OTA?
