It is the main way for me to find out if I programed something correctly or to use it as a quick reference to see what is on the TV at night.

I have the 10-250 and having in exchanged out on Saturday, hoping that I am making the right decision to swap out now. (DTV swapped it out for no charge) Alot of problems since i signed up for HD service. See post under DTV with
Tivo Q & A.
