I have a couple of questions and I would like to apologize for the lenght up front.

1) I asked for pointing information for the AT9 a week or so ago with my zip being 47468.
Someone was kind enough to give me these coordinates.
Elev: 42, Tilt: 72, Az: 206
But if I go to http://www.emantechn...m/lookangle.asp and put my zip in for the 101 sat (this is the sat I need to center on.
I get these coordinates.
Elev: 41.1, Tilt: 17.1, Az: 203.8.
I'm not too worried about the elev or Az, but there is a big difference in tilt. I do not have an H20 to look these up my self. Which is correct? the website or the ones given to me here?

2) Someone recommended the mono-pole for support even if you mounting on the roof? Is this required or just recommended?

3) Almost forgot.. If I happened to walk into Bestbuy would I be able to call up my coordinates on an H20 they have set up.. Would/should someone at Bestbuy be able to do this for me?

Thanks
Greg.

I get El 42, Tilt 72, Az 206 on my H20. The monopoles will stiffen the pole (like a tripod). The installation instructions say recommended, but unless there was no way to use them, I would certainly install the monopoles.

Best Buy may do this for you. You have to go through the setup until completion, however (I don't think you can exit at that point), so they may be reluctant.

The H20 receiver has the RIGHT angles for the AT9 dish! The web site does NOT have the right angles for the AT9 dish. You have two H20 owners giving you the right info. I suspect you can go with that. Keep in mind you do NOT need the AT9 unless you have an H20 or HR20 receiver. Further DirecTV will give you an H20 receiver and professionally install the AT9 dish all for $99. If you are a long time subscriber they may do all that for FREE.

And what would I do with the $99 dish I already bought, not to mention the meter and tools. Beside I sort of like to challenge and I'm not to keen on waiting around for hours for someone to show up to do the work. Once I get it basically installed I plan on doing some "house" wiring to make the cabling better.. Right now all my cables go through my crawl space.. And it really is a "crawl" space with about 8 to 16 inches to crawl in..

Thanks.
