I just called and ordered it, can I call them back and have it sent to another address? I just remember that I won't be here to receive the package.

Isn't that a question best asked of DirecTv?

I guess I thought if you needed to have the replacement sent somewhere else you would have had to deal with DirecTv on the where and when anyway. My bad.

Call FedEx and see if they'll hold it for you at their distribution center. I've done that on occasions with just about all of the shippers if I know there will be a problem getting a package delivered.

Is there a neighbor that would be willing to accept the delivery for you? If so then just leave a note on the door addressed to FedEx with instructions on where to leave the package.

As an FYI:

The shipping address for a delivery is a seperate area, and can be different from the service and billing addresses. I have personally ordered a delivery to someones office several times, it just has to be done seperately. If the item already shipped, like in this instance, then get the tracking # and call fed ex.

1-800-GOFEDEX

What, I gotta tell you how to dial the above #?

Hope that helps.
