Is it possible to to connect the hr20 to a 3lnb dish? I ask because I am supposed to pickup the hr20 from bestbuy on the Sept, 6th (Michigan).

And the install is not until the Sept. 28th for the AT9 dish. I am just curious if I would be able to set the hr20 up with the old dish. Or should I wait?

Yes, it will work with the 3lnb dish just fine. You just won't get any of the MPEG4 channels (HD locals) until you get the new dish set up.
