yeah its me and im back. in the weeks i have been gone i have been exploring other DSS forums and have found many people out there who have the same problem i have. You people cant be real . Yes, i have to pull the plug every 5 days to reset the time on my reciever, and YES, there are others out there with the same problem.My signal strenth is fine, My RG6 cable is fine, my eliptical dish is fine, its Directv who has the problem and they are goin DOWN !!!!!!!!! i have there number .

It seems that you have a defective receiver. Take the friggin' unit back to the dealer and get a different model or a new receiver, and quit bitchin' about it. It is under warranty for a year. Not every piece of equipment coming off an assembly line is perfect. Be an adult and take care of the problem, and quit pissing and moaning about it.

It is an equipment problem. I have three Directv receivers and none of them "loose" time. It is not a Directv problem, but a manufacturing problem.

sorry,no can do. i have called many retailers and the GCEB0A, with advanced program guide, is not available in any store around here. this box comes from dtv. Hughes is currently investigating this matter . does any one here have a GCEB0 A --NOT gceb0 , there is abig difference as you should know.
