PPV Ordered by Remote

How long does it take to appear on your account? I had asked this question before, and the general consensus was that it takes 24-48 hours - but I ordered a movie last weekend, and it still is not showing on my account at directv.com...

Is your DirecTV Receiver connected to a phone line?

Yep...the one I ordered the PPV on is connected to a phone line.

Yes...but the last "callback" to Directv may have been over 30 days ago...or the info hasn't cleared with Directv, or an occational FUBAR happened on the way to the forum... You may have to check to see if there is a message on the screen on the PPV you are trying to order, and then call Directv with that message.

They may have to order a "callback" to your receiver, and then order the PPV over the phone (they have to waive the additional fee because of troubleshooting issues for you).

Huh? As I said in my original post, I ordered the PPV last weekend and it still has not posted. I'm not trying to order anything right now, just trying to figure out how long it'll take to show up on my account...

matty, i ordered a PPV by remote on one of my R15's on the 28th of August. It was not showing on my acct. on the 29th, however, my bill normally comes out and is charged to my CC on the 29th and it was on the charge but did not show up on the online-bill on the 29th. Most likely the online info had not updated when i viewed it. Most PPV i have ordered in the past, have shown up within a few days but others have stated even longer.

Ok, lack of chocolate made me not read the HEADER.

The reason it didn't show up on your bill yet is because:

1) Directv sends the signal to the box once a month to do a "callback"

2) During this callback, the access card reports any PPV that you ordered.

3) This will then show up on the billing screen for Directv and online.

So, if your receiver hasn't made the monthly callback, Directv doesn't know yet about the PPV you purchased, and thus its not on any billing yet.
