waiting for or should I go ahead and get the 5LBN? I had placed an order
for HD TV and they came out and told me they couldn't install the dish
on the side of my house. There was no other place to put it. I can make
the side of the house solid anought to install a 5-LNB if it is worth it.
I do want HD with my new Vizio 32 Flat Screen.

was one the patio. But there was no line of site from the patio. If AT9 is
good I will put a 2x10 on the side of the garage for them to attach it to.

The behemoth 5LNB dish is what you're going to get for a while. Rather than using a 2x10, you may be better served with a 20"+ square piece of 1" exterior plywood. This will allow the surface area to grab plenty of stud and limit rocking or twisting. You should also ask about the possibility of using a ground pole sunk in concrete.
