I bought my 921 16 months ago and have had not problems with it. I built a new home and moved into an apartment for 5 months while we were building so I canceled my dish service. I disconnected service and sent DISH back the receivers they installed, but kept the 921 because I purchased it outright and wanted to move it into my new home. I have had no luck in getting the receiver to work in my new home (I will post another thread right after this one). I read where dish was offering $200 trade in credit for the unit so I called and was just going to buy an additional 621 (I already leased one when they did the new install). I was told that they have no record of the 621 being on my current account, so they could not offer a trade in. I gave them my old phone number and they looked up my old account and saw the unit, but still said they could not do the trade in because it was not purchased under my new address and phone number account. This is the nuttiest thing I have ever heard.... See next thread for problems getting the 621 to work with Dish 1000 in my new home.
