Told on phone by DTV installer would be here between 8-10
Order online shows 8-12
DirecTech called and said they would be here at 2

Little bit of a communication problem....

Update: 2:46, still no installer

Update 2: 3:39 still no installer, called DTV at 3:00 and was told there was a note left at 2:30, from the installation company that they would be here in 30 minutes. Received a $20 missed appointment credit.

Update 3: 5:11 STILL no installer in sight. Was on the line with DTV and DirecTech at 4:15 and was told the installer wasn't answering his phone but his supervisor was going to get in touch with him and I would get a call. Now on the phone with DirecTech and on hold waiting to find out what, exactly, the problem seems to be.

Well.....no install today! DirecTech claims they will have someone here at 8am tomorrow to do the install. I had to deal with them directly to even get them to do that since DirecTV could only try to reschedule me for a few weeks from now!

Finally got the AT9 installed and the HR20. Install went very well and the unit works great.

Turns out the installer who was supposed to show up yesterday just took off with the truck and quit in the middle of the day!

Protected By... spam firewall...And...
