I have about 450 items in my HR20-700 history list. Don't know where they came from. Does this "bog down" the machine?

Those items in your history are past recordings and cancellations. Not sure if they will eventually bog down the system as I would imagine they are being stored on the HDD. I have yet to find a way to delete them.

One of my systems have over 900... there has been no difference in the system performance.

There is no way to delete them.

So eventually over the course of a year with the HR20 I could have many thousands of events recorded in the history log? Seems a bit excessive to me.
