has there been any updates on this, just got back tonight to watch the baseball game & it indicated the the recording was cancelled yet there were no recording conflicts, etc i saw others had similar problems in late Sept - but dont see any updates to a fix on this

I believe you encountered the same situation I did. You set the recordings from the guide when it was still generic info, i.e.- "MLB Playoff: Teams to be determined". About an hour before the first game aired, D* refreshed the Guide with the teams playing and it wiped out the recordings I set.

Pappys reports a workaround in the post I hyperlinked.

Ceton 6 tuner eth, Cisco Tuning Adapter 1520, TWC Digital Explorer Pak and 50/5 Internet, TiVo HD (upgraded to 500 GB) for OTA,TC-P50U50, SONY NSZ-GT1 BD player and Google TV box, Yamaha RX-V373 A/V receiver, Squeezebox Duet music streaming device, Xbox 360
