I currently have 2 508's and 1 501 that all use the same Plantinum remote. The remotes are getting old and I was looking to replace them but I was curious if the newer remotes that come with the newer 625 work with the 508's and 501's? To add to the confusion it looks like they come in a IR and a UHF and also different version's? I think I have seen a version 5.0, 6.0, and 8.0? Will any of these work with my receivers or should I just stick with the same remote that came with them?

Thanks!
Rick

The new universal remote is the ir/uhf/uhf pro 6.2 remote, which you would probably automatically be shipped if you set up an exchange on the remotes. Add the protection plan, and you'll get them for free.. 5.99/mo for the protection plan, of course..
