No kidding. Does this worry anyone else? I guess it could be good, bad, or completely transparent. These things usually scare me. My company is always taking over smaller firms, squeezing everything out of them that made them good, just to make more profit. You are right, only time will tell.

Isn't that pretty much what Murdoch has tried to do with every company that he buys?

With Liberty taking over, do you think there will be any chance of D* going back to Tivo? Sounds like the HR20 is having a lot of issues.

Does the DVR technology and software development org go with Directv to Liberty in the deal, or does that development team stay at newscorp?
