Lately i've noticed that most of the shows i've recording are missing at least five minutes at the end. I've modified the start and end time for the timer (5 min before and even 15 after) but nothing yet, this mainly happens with HD channels.

Does Anybody know if this is a know problem ?

Not games but discovery series, and always is at the end, missing like 5 minutes to end the show.

Discovery, as in Discovery HD Theatre ?? Those shows typically do NOT run the full hour, sometimes 45m or so. That's 'cause they have very few, if any commercials and the ones they do have are usually pretty short.
